5 Schools in Davao Occidental Receive Gift of Knowledge from San Miguel

Five remote schools in the small municipality of Malita, Davao Occidental now have access to hundreds of Knowledge Channel (KCFI) educational videos and multimedia resources thanks to San Miguel Consolidated Global Power Inc. (SMC Global Power) and San Miguel Foundation. The children and teachers of these schools received a complete Gift of Knowledge On-demand package which includes a 40-inch flat screen television, a pair of speakers, and a portable media library (external hard drive) with hundreds of educational videos and other resources for learning.

Vin Conmigo, School and Community Engagement Coordinator of KCFI, expressed her joy for the joint project done with SMC Global Power and San Miguel Foundation. “Natuwa ako kasi nai-connect natin yung advocacy natin. Ramdam ko yung need at excitement ng teachers na makatanggap ng instructional materials mula sa Knowledge Channel.”

The five beneficiary schools in Malita, Davao are: New Argao Elementary School, Felis Elementary School, Mariano Elementary School, Malita Central Elementary School, and Mariano Peralta National High School.
