Aside from giving an insight into their day-to-day struggles, the documentary also reveals how Jarren brings comfort and a positive perspective to their lives. Throughout the film, the mother's unconditional love evidently radiates as the family's constant source of light, providing them with unwavering hope and strength to face the challenges of life.

The Magbukun language of the Ayta Magbukun people in Bataan, spoken by only 764 households, was deemed endangered by UNESCO's Atlas of the World's Languages in Danger. Mistru Alfie isa an Ayta Magbukun and a teacher at Bahay-Wika under the language revitalization program of the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino to save the Magbukun language in Bangkal, Abucay, Bataan. He, along with the elders, grapples with cultural and linguistic challenges as they struggle to preserve a vital part of their heritage in the face of the overwhelming dominance of the Tagalog language.
