KCFI Bags Three Awards During NCCT’s 27th Anniversary Kickoff

Last October 18, the National Council for Children’s Television (NCCT) celebrated their 27th anniversary at the Manila Heritage Hotel by launching the Comprehensive Media Program for Children (CMPC) to ensure more informative and age-appropriate TV content for children. The new program was designed to unite content creators and stakeholders in a collaborative effort to promote and improve child-friendly media. As part of the celebration, the NCCT also formally recognized the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) and other partner organizations for their dedication to producing child-friendly content. Knowledge Channel earned the Outstanding Commitment to Child-Friendly Content Standards award, while its two shows, MathDali and Puno Ng Buhay, were honored for their Exemplary Adherence to Child-Friendly Content Standards.

KCFI and DepEd Renew Partnership to Enhance Educational Access

On October 9, 2024, the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) and the Department of Education (DepEd) formalized the renewal of their partnership by a ceremonial signing of a new Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), reinforcing their shared commitment to closing learning gaps and making quality education more accessible. Led by KCFI President and Executive Director Rina Lopez and Education Secretary Sonny Angara, the new MOA will allow the two organizations to continue collaborating in the development of curriculum-based video lessons and other educational materials to enhance Early Childhood Development (ECD) learning and Basic Education.
