ECCD shares tips for parents with kids 0-4 years

Experts share tips on caring for kids under four years old during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has forced families to stay at home with the enforcement of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in many areas in the Philippines. Using the power and reach of social media, the Early Chilldhood Care and Development Council (ECCD) developed a series of art cards to help parents with children under 4 years of age to cope with the so-called “new normal”.

ECCD encourages parents to play with their kids through engaging activities that will stimulate the brain and help them learn. Some of these activities include creating sound shakers, dramatic play boxes, and doing shadow play. They also have bingo cards that parents can use as a checklist in caring for their little kids.

ECCD is a partner of Knowledge Channel Foundation (KCFI) in promoting the welfare, education, and nutrition of Filipino children in the early years.
