How to Join?

  1. Download the Class Project Certification Form and have it signed by an active PACE-member faculty. 

  2. Upload your video to a video-sharing platform (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive) and ensure the link is accessible. 

  3. Submit your entry through the website by:

    • Filling out the online entry form

    • Uploading the signed Certification Form

    • Providing the link to your video

⏰ Deadline: February 28, 2025, at 11:59 PM 

Who Can Join?

  • Open to students currently enrolled in a college, university, or educational institution with faculty who are active members of PACE.

  • Participants may join as an individual or a team (maximum of 8 members).

  • One entry per individual/team only.

  • Entrants must not be related up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity to any KCFI employee, ABS-CBN employee, or PACE official. 

📹 Video Requirements:

  • Length: 12–15 minutes

  • Resolution: Minimum of 1920 x 1080

  • Content: Must be relevant, educational, and centered on SDG goals and the Filipino children. (Refer to the Criteria for Judging)

  • Content Restrictions:

    • Videos must not contain:

      • Obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit materials.

      • Content that promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activities.

      • Strong support or opposition to any political, religious or group that advocates the above and of ill-repute.

      • False, misleading, or defamatory information.

      • Infringement of any intellectual property rights, including copyrighted or previously published stories, scripts, music or any “pirated” content.

Criteria for Judging

Content: 25% 

  • Relevance & Usefulness: The video content should be aligned with the SDGs while ensuring relevance and remaining sensitive to children's sensibilities and values.

  • Educational Value: The video should effectively convey knowledge, insights, or concepts in an engaging way. 

  • Broadcast Suitability & MTRCB Compliance: The video should be fit for air on public broadcast, complying with MTRCB ratings (G or PG).

Production Quality: 25%

  • Visual Composition & Cinematography: The video should display strong visual storytelling, with effective shot composition, lighting, and camera work.

  • Editing Style: The editing should be smooth and well-paced, enhancing the overall flow and impact of the video.

  • Sound Quality & Music Usage: The video should have clear, high-quality audio and appropriate use of music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the viewing experience.

Narrative Flow: 25%

  • Storytelling Seamlessness: The video should tell a coherent, well-structured story that is easy to follow.

  • Originality: The narrative should be unique and innovative, showcasing creative ideas.

  • Compelling & Interesting: The story should engage the audience from start to finish, capturing their attention and interest.

Impact: 25%

  • Appeal to Audience: The video should resonate with its intended Audience, whether through emotional connection, humor, or insight. (Knowledge Channel Audience: Students, Parents, Teachers)

  • Memorability: The video should leave a lasting impression, encouraging the audience to reflect on its message or content after viewing.
