Enchong Dee: His “coolest” adventure yet

Being a host I’m learning with the students. We teach them agriculture, aquaculture- the business side of agriculture- so even I, as a host, I’m learning from what I’m saying and from the people I interview also.

Enchong Dee who was also celebrating his 10th year in the biz then was presented as the newest host of the six-episode learning series, which delves deeper into Aquaculture, Animal and Crop Production and their immense potential as business enterprises.

In an interview with Mornings @ ANC, Enchong revealed that with a handful of projects and advertisements on his belt, it was his second stint as host.

“Being a host I’m learning with the students. We teach them agriculture, aquaculture- the business side of agriculture- so even I, as a host, I’m learning from what I’m saying and from the people I interview also. This is my second official hosting job and I’m happy because it’s very educational and I think we’re going to make a lot of impact to the kids studying right now,” the 29-year old actor stated.

Enchong, who grew up in a family farm based in Naga, was easily accustomed to the show as he jumps into the water and learn fish farming, the proper handling of fishing equipment and water management from the experts, selecting and raising a stock, and digging up know-hows to accurately yield good crops. The Kapamilya heartthrob also noted the prospects that are tied with agriculture and hinted that it is a business that his family can come back to in the future.

“After doing the show, my perspective changed. If one only knew the opportunities within the business of agriculture, we can have more farmers, we can have food security we can give stable income for Filipino families. I think that’s the advocacy of it,” Enchong said.

Knowledge Channel and Land Bank aim to showcase the Philippines and its vast greens and large bodies of water, while harnessing the value and significance of agriculture in our country’s economy, and to the lives of every Filipino as well.
