By Angelaine Chan

Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) has been serving the people for over 20 years by providing and developing educational shows, video lessons, partnerships, training, and more. Parents play a crucial role in supporting their child's growth and development during the first 1000 days of their life. However, access to reliable information on supporting their child's needs are limited during this period. To address this gap, KCFI and National Nutrition Council (NNC) have partnered to create the "I Love You 1000: Batang #Laking1000" to help new and expecting parents with relevant information on nutrition, health, and early childhood care and development.

This new series,  "I Love You 1000: Batang #Laking1000 '' aims to give parents the information they need to support their child's growth and development during the first 1000 days of life. Hosted by newly-wed couple Angela (Majoy Apostol) and Mark (Marlo Mortel), together, they guide parents through issues such as diet, health, and early childhood care and development. It covers various topics, including breastfeeding, proper nutrition, immunization, and early childhood stimulation. Each episode will provide parents with practical tips, advice, and expert insights from specialists in child development. The show aims to empower parents to make informed decisions about their child's health and well-being and to support them in providing their child's best possible start in life.

This show offers a helpful guide for parents seeking to nurture their child's progress and maturation in the important first 1000 days of life. Developed in partnership with the Department of Health and NNC, the show focuses on parenting techniques and advice on raising children in their first 1000 days, which is also known as the “golden window of opportunity” for child development. It airs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 4PM on Knowledge Channel. By sharing practical tips and professional perspectives, the show enables parents to make choices regarding their child's physical and emotional welfare, giving them a solid foundation for their future.
