KCFI Joins in iAcademy Job Fair

More than 100 resumes were received by Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) during the iAcademy Career Fair Last May 18, 2018.

In an effort to reach out to more college students, KCFI joined iAcademy for the very first time in whole day Career Fair at the iAcademy Nexus, Yakal Campus in Makati City.

Accepted interns will be working in the fields of animation; marketing and communications; scriptwriting; graphic design and creativity; and information technology. According to Vin Conmigo,  School and Community Engagement Coordinator of KCFI, the partnership with iAcademy will not only benefit the applicants, but also the schools, teachers and learners KCFI serve as well. Conmigo added that applicants were surprised to know KCFI was also involved in animation and mobile programming. Interns will devote 960 hours for actual training with experts and mentors in the fields of computing, business, and design.

iAcademy also introduced the foundation’s advocacies and programs through their various activities like their career fair and  the senior high school assistance sponsorship through their Student Orientation and Registration Program (SOAR).

Vanessa Tanco, iAcademy President and CEO, envisions this partnership as a tool “to create animated content and videos that will help educate the youth of today. It will allow iACADEMY Game Changers to hone and showcase their talents nationally as their works will be aired on TV, as well as improve the level of education of children from Kindergarten to Grade 3.”
