Knowledge Channel Foundation and Starmobile Bring Educational Content to Tablets
In an effort to push modern technology to public schools, 50 brand new Starmobile tablets were donated to Knowledge Channel Foundation (KCFI) last April 6 during a turnover and contract signing ceremony at Caniogan Elementary School in Morong, Rizal. These tablets will be loaded with more than 50 newly developed games from Knowledge Channel featuring content from MathDali episodes.
Being a pioneer in transmedia learning, KCFI has been developing educational games as complements to episodes since 2008. “Kids these days are not just exposed to television, they’re already using tablets and mobile devices,” said Edric Calma. “This partnership with Starmobile will help us bring our educational content to more Filipino learners thorugh different modes and platforms.”
