Through the combined efforts of Rotary Foundation, Rotary Districts 3740 South Korea, 3820 Philippines, Rotary Club of Cheongju Dongseo, Rotary Club of San Pablo City, and Rotary Club of Puerto Galera Bay, more children in Puerto Galera, including those in remote indigenous communities, now have access to more than 1,000 Knowledge Channel videos and multimedia learning resources through the Gift of Knowledge.

Each package includes a 40-inch LED TV, speakers, and an external hard drive with full episodes of Knowledge Channel’s videos and games.

The beneficiary schools were San Antonio Elementary School, Lapantay Mangyan School, and Malago Mangyan School. Aside from the educational television packages, the schools also received computers, printers, projectors, books, and handwashing stations under its “Gift of Learning” Global Grant No. GG1979293.

More than 250 learners have benefited from the Gift of Knowledge donations.
