300 Educators Join KCFI Trainings for Teachers’ Month
In celebration of National Teacher’s Month last September, Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) with the support of Western Union, First Philippine Industrial Park, Morong High School Alumni Association, Maybancal USA Association and the Department of Education, conducted a series of LEEP teacher trainings or Learning Effectively through Enhanced and Evidence-based Pedagogies in the areas of Rizal, Tagaytay, Batangas, and Sultan Kudarat.
More than 300 teachers and principals attended the three-day workshops which focused on teaching strategies that promote 21st Century learning in the classroom. It aims to help improve the students’ learning outcomes by demonstrating different ways of teaching a topic aside from the usual chalk-and-blackboard approach. Delivered in a unique and interactive format, participants experienced firsthand how to effectively integrate theater arts, games, Knowledge Channel videos, and more in their classes.
