DepEd Divisions of Biñan and Sta. Rosa Commend Knowledge Channel
The Department of Education (DepEd) City Schools Divisions of Sta Rosa and Biñan, in separate occasions commended the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) for its programs and projects that are meant to uplift the quality of education.
DepEd Sta. Rosa Schools Superintendent Helen Ramos acknowledged KCFI’s “education initiatives that have positively influenced the development of learners and the delivery of quality and inclusive basic education” in the division. KCFI has in the past provided Sinalhan Elementary School (ES) and Pulong Sta. Cruz ES with access to Knowledge Channel’s curriculum-based on-air broadcast and a one-day teacher training on how to maximize the use of videos in classroom learning.
Meanwhile, DepEd Binan Schools Superintendent Hereberto Miranda is thankful that five of his schools have been recipients Knowledge Channel’s education television systems with an external hard drive of more than 1000 educational videos, games, session guides and other learning materials. Five schools in the Division of Biñan are also scheduled to participate in KCFI’s teacher training program called LEEP or Learning Effectively through Enhanced and Evidenced-Based Pedagogies. These are San Vicente ES, Malaban East ES, Loma ES, Southville 5 ES-Timbao, and Malaban ES.
