International school in Lucena invests in Knowledge Channel

More private schools are starting to expand their technology learning resources through Knowledge Channel Foundation’s (KCFI) multimedia learning resources.

Over 1,000 students from the International School for Better Beginnings (ISBB) can now enjoy learning with the installation of a new television set, a portable media library with thousands of Knowledge Channel videos and e-modules, and a Sky Direct satellite dish. With this complete Gift of Knowledge package, ISBB students and teachers now have unlimited access to Knowledge Channel on-air and offline, anytime.

In a turnover and training event held last June 26, KCFI presented the educational package to ISBB in Lucena, Quezon with thanks to Mrs. Elizabeth Reyes – Enverga, ISBB’s owner and principal who purchased the package for her school. “We like it because it will be useful for teaching in different subject areas,” said Enverga in a phone interview. In addition, KCFI Director for Operations Edric Calma also delivered a half-day workshop based on Knowledge Channel’s LEEP or Learning Effectively through Enhanced and Evidence-based Pedagogies.

Established in 1997, the International School for Better Beginnings (ISBB) is known as one of the best private education institutions in Lucena.
