KCFI and 5 PH universities seal PRIME partnership

Following the writing workshop for the Program for Inclusive and Innovative Master Educators (PRIME) and several other meetings, the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) and Philippine Normal University (PNU) on October 9, De La Salle University (DLSU) on October 11, and University of the Philippines (UP) and University of Santo Tomas (UST) on October 18 to deepen their partnership on PRIME. The ceremonial signing of MoU commenced in the respective universities.

In the said PRIME MoU, partners agree to provide quality and relevant professional development opportunities to in-service K to 3 teachers serving in challenging educational situations. KCFI pledged to take the lead in the planning, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of PRIME, while the universities vowed to actively participate and contribute in its development and execution.

After the MoU signing, PRIME partners hope to launch its call for nominations for the initial cohort of in-service K to 3 teachers who will meet certain qualifications.
