KCFI and Rotary Launch Project in Muntinlupa

A second launching of the “100 for 100: The Knowledge Channel Project” was held last March 3, 2017 at Muntinlupa National High School – Tunasan Annex. This event officially commenced the installation of educational television systems in more than 20 public schools in Muntinlupa, Makati, and Las Piñas.

School principals and representatives from the Divisions of Muntinlupa, Las Pinas and Makati, as well as club presidents of Rotary Districts 3830 Philippines and 3620 South Korea graced the occasion organized by Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc (KCFI).

Special guests and speakers were KCFI President Rina Lopez Bautista, Rotary District 3620 South Korea Assistant Governor Jeon Yong-Chul, Past District 3830 Governor Herman Gamboa, Dr. Remedios Cunanan of the Department of Education, and Muntinlupa City Mayor Jaime Fresnedi.

The “100 for 100: The Knowledge Channel Project” is a partnership between Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc., Rotary Districts 3830 (Philippines), 3620 (South Korea), and 3500 (Taiwan). With the support of 60 Rotary Clubs, beneficiary public schools will receive educational television systems via SKY’s direct-to-home service, SKYdirect or ABS-CBN TVplus, giving them access to Knowledge Channel’s entire line-up of shows based on the K-12 curriculum of the Department of Education.
