In the opening remarks of KCFI President Rina Lopez Bautista, she emphasized the importance of partnerships in furthering the mission of the Foundation. “With the support of private institutions, civic organizations, schools and LGUs like Sta. Rosa, KCFI can definitely reach more and teach more learners,” she said.

Dr. Ronaldo Cambel, Principal of Sta. Rosa Elementary School Central II, expressed thanks on behalf of DepEd Sta. Rosa.

Teachers and students also expressed their delight upon receiving their educational TV packages. “It’s a great privilege [to receive Knowledge Channel] and a blessing to us in Sta. Rosa,” said Ma’am Leonor Macalagay, teacher at Sta. Rosa ES Central II.

As an added surprise, Knowledge Channel host Marlo Mortel did a live version of Knowledge on the Go and performed a song requested by the audience. Gift bags of assorted breads and products from Gardenia were also given away.
