More than 200 teachers have benefited from LEEP trainings (Learning Effectively through Enhanced and Evidence-based Pedagogies) and technical trainings delivered by Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc (KCFI) with the support of various sponsors in 2018.

Sharing its efforts with the Division Office of Lanao Del Norte, KCFI started its LEEP journey this year last June 22, 2018 by training 60 teachers from the municipalities of Kapatagan, Magsaysay, Tangkal, Tagoloan, and Marawi.

81 teachers, 43 school administrators and 3 supervisors from the province Sultan Kudarat also benefited from LEEP with a similar training held at FB Hotel in South Cotabato last June 28 to 30, 2018.

In Laguna, KCFI partnered with CBK Power Limited where over 60 teachers were trained in Camarin Resort, Laguna from October 24 to 26, 2018.

All LEEP participants underwent a 3-day training that helped them develop more effective learning strategies and received external hard drives from KCFI with more than 1,000 educational videos, games and other digital learning resources.

KCFI also delivered a complementary “mini-LEEP” technical training to 6 beneficiary schools sponsored by Malampaya Foundation alongside the donations of Gift of Knowledge on-demand packages which included a 40-inch LED TV and a Knowledge Channel Portable Media Library (external hard drive).

LEEP was initiated back in 2013 by former Education Secretary and KCFI Consultant for Education Dr. Fe Hidalgo. It aims to train teachers with dynamic and creative learning strategies designed to engage learners better.
