It was a fun-filled afternoon in Caingin Elementary School, Sta. Rosa, Laguna as Knowledge Channel Foundation (KCFI) and Yey Channel celebrated the last Bida Best school tour for 2018. More than 500 kids participated in different educational activities and games.

Yey Channel opened the tour with simultaneous Team Yey activities where kids learned Zumba dance moves in “Galaw Go”, played Jenga in “Game Play”, strummed the guitar in “Soundcheck”, tried food decorating in “Snacks Naman”, and experimented with coloring in “Artstig” and “StorYey”.

The main part of the program started with DJ Rico Romantico of MOR 101.9 introducing ABS-CBN’s Ang Probinsyano star, singer, and host of Knowledge on the Go, Marlo Mortel. Bringing along his famous die and backpack, Marlo tested the wits of 20 students on topics in English, Math, Science, Filipino, and AP by having them line up behind the letter of the correct answer. Three kids won the game and were awarded with Knowledge Channel and Yey Channel merchandise. Marlo closed the segment by serenading the audience with his version of Kahit Maputi na Ang Buhok Ko.

The performance surely drummed up the excitement of the kids and teachers in the venue.

Closing the program was a short video message from Rina Lopez Bautista reminding the kids to do their best in everything that they do – for themselves, their families, and their country. She also announced the formal launch of the new May K Ako music video which everyone got to watch in full at the end of the program.
