More Palawan Schools Now Connected to Knowledge Channel
Two more schools in Palawan are now connected to Knowledge Channel through the generosity and support of Malampaya Foundation and Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI)
The teachers and students of San Jose National High School and Pancol National High School in El Nido, Palawan were filled with gratitude and joy upon receiving KCFI’s education TV packages which included a television set and a SKY Direct satellite. These were turned over last December 12-13, 2017 at Taytay, El Nido, Palawan by KCFI representatives Ms. Doris Nuval (School and Community Engagement Head) and Mr. Ian Gaite (Assistant Manager for Transmedia).

The schools’ teachers and principals were also trained on LEEP or Learning Effectively through Enhanced and Evidence-Based Pedagogies. It was an essential addition in helping teachers upgrade their teaching skills and knowledge and in maximizing the use of Knowledge Channel in their classrooms.
KCFI has been working closely with Malampaya Foundation since 2011 in connecting public schools to Knowledge Channel in Palawan and other areas. To date, more than 290 schools have been connected to Knowledge Channel in Region IV-B: Marinduque, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, and Romblon.
