Combining their efforts in delivering quality multimedia resources to public schools, Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) and Sky Cable brought Holiday cheer once again to public school children on the second year of the “BOOKas PALAD” program. More than 260 story books and an external hard drive containing more than 1,000 Knowledge Channel videos and digital resources were turned over to Bago Bantay Elementary School in Quezon City.

Each child in Grade 2 received a book from Adarna Publishing House. These books were also animated by Knowledge Channel in the TV series, “Kuwentong Pambata” aired every Monday and Tuesday, 8:00AM with replays at 6:00PM. A storytelling session was also conducted by Sky employees to the enjoyment of its students and their teachers.

With this year’s “BOOKas PALAD” Program, more than 2,000 story books have been donated by Sky employees to over 10 public schools in different areas in the Philippines.

KCFI and Sky have been long-standing partners in advocating for quality education by connecting public schools to Knowlede Channel via Sky Cable and Sky Direct.
