Quezon City, November 11, 2023 – The recently concluded 11th yearly math quiz event, "The Annual Nationwide Search for the Little Math Wizard," organized by the University of the Philippines Mathematics Club (UP Math Club), showcased the extraordinary mathematical prowess of young minds across Grades 4 to 6. The competition aimed not only to find the best young mathematicians but also to ignite a passion for math among the youth.

Jenelle Nyka G. Lee from Chiang Kai Shek College emerged as this year's Little Math Wizard, demonstrating the perfect blend of "Sipag + Tiyaga." Hillary Beatrice Y. Lorenzo of Immaculate Conception Academy claimed the 1st-runner up title (Little Math Sorcerer), while Michael Isaac M. Vega of the University of the Philippines Integrated School secured the 2nd-runner up position (Little Math Apprentice).

The competition underscored the message that with dedication and perseverance, young students can excel in math.

Knowledge Channel's MathDali played a vital role in supporting this mission, offering an enjoyable and informative series aligned with the K-12 Curriculum for all learners.
