Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) recognized the achievements of 115 interns and 13 volunteers in the KC Volunteer and Internship Program (KCVIP) through an online graduation with the theme, “KCFI Through the Years: The Art of Metamorphosis” last September 4 via Zoom and Facebook Live.

The event was graced by the presence of KCFI President Rina Lopez, with KCFI Director of Operations Edric Calma, and proud KCFI employees who worked with the graduating batch of KCVIP school year 2021-2022. Also there to send their congratulations were, Asst. Prof. Kim Bernard Fajardo of Polytechnic University of the Philippines,TV Patrol News Anchor and Lingkod Kapamilya sa TeleRadyo Program Host, Ms. Bernadette Sembrano - Aguinaldo, and MathDali’s Host Mr. Robi Domingo.

In her opening speech, Ms. Rina Lopez highlighted how the event also speaks for the journey of Knowledge Channel, reminiscing the growth of the foundation to how it is today.

"The theme for this year’s graduation…speaks to the journey of both the Knowledge Channel as an organization, and that of our 128 interns and volunteers who are graduating today."

The pandemic had taken away opportunities of education from various Filipino youth, and KCFI remains driven to continue reaching and teaching them through the use of digital platforms. After the ceremony, KCFI introduced its newest project, the KcX Innovation lab, which tests and deploys EdTech products like educational VR videos, gamified learning experience, etc., to transform education for the Filipino children. Recently, KCFI launched its School Anywhere campaign, supplementing the Department of Education’s (DepEd) hybrid learning curriculum, making education accessible for both students and teachers nationwide.

With its passion to continuously serve the Filipino people, KCFI’s interns and volunteers will surely continue to bring the values of professionalism and volunteerism with them as they conquer the world. If you or anyone you know would love to work with Knowledge Channel Foundation, we are inviting volunteers for the kcX innovation lab! Register here: https://kcxlabs.org/volunteer. Together, let’s engineer the learning experience of the future.
