Emmy winning studio is first Knowledge TV donor

Philippine animation studio Toon City donates the very first Knowledge TV package to Bagalangit Elementary School in Batangas.
A small public school in Mabini, Batangas received a huge gift from Toon City President Miguel del Rosario and Knowledge Channel Foundation (KCFI) President and Executive Director Rina Lopez Bautista last July 5 with a donation of the very first Knowledge TV, the Foundation’s latest education innovation using the power of the Google Android platform.
Knowledge TV is a SMART TV installed with the Knowledge Channel android app and fitted with a hard drive that houses more than 1,000 Knowledge Channel videos, games, and e-modules. A step up to the portable media libraries given in previous years, Knowledge TV has a user interface that allows teachers to search and play videos with just a few clicks of the remote. Knowledge TV can also play Knowledge Channel videos even without internet or TV signal. With these better features, learning can be less stressful and more fun for teachers and students alike.
Toon City President, Miguel del Rosario, expressed his joy in being the very first donor of Knowledge TV to his beneficiary school. “Learning has to be fun. And it is one of the many things na nagagawa ng Knowledge channel. Para sa amin we are very happy to be able to help and we’re very happy that Knolwedge Channel adhered to our wishes.”
KCFI President and Executive Director, Rina Lopez Bautista, also reminded the teachers and students of Bagalangit Elementary School to utilize and maximize this Gift of Knowledge donated by Toon City and Mr.del Rosario. “Kami sa Knowledge Channel ay talagang nagpupurisigi na dalin ang Knowledge Channel sa buong bansa kasama ang aming mga partner. Sana maalagaan ninyo ang mga ibibigay sa inyo today at matutuo kayo ng mabuti para makamit ninyo ang mga pangarap ninyo at makatulong kayo sa mga Kapamilya ninyo.”
