KCFI continues its partnership for Education in the Philippines: Mas masaya matuto ng bago, kapag sama-sama tayo!

For almost 24 years, Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) has been dedicated to providing transformative learning experiences to Filipino children through media and technology. With over 1,500 video lessons and educational resources anchored on the Department of Education’s curriculum for K to 12 and on the National Early Learning Curriculum developed by the Early Childhood Care and Development, KCFI has been able to reach learners through various platforms, including on-air, online, and offline. The foundation's efforts have not gone unnoticed, as it received recognition from the Department of Education on December 13, 2022, for its continued support and love for all learners.

KCFI's commitment to education goes beyond providing resources, as it also offers training and mentoring programs to help teachers and care providers maximize their utilization of video resources. KCFI President and Executive Director, Rina Lopez, has been invited and accepted the call to action to serve as a standing committee member of the EDCOM II. Her work will primarily focus on researching and advocating for effective early childhood care, aligning with KCFI's common goal and action for the holistic development of every Filipino child.

EDCOM II is the country's second Congressional Commission on Education, and its purpose is to conduct a comprehensive national assessment and evaluation of the Philippine education sector's performance. By being a partner of the Department of Education and having a representative on the EDCOM II, KCFI is actively contributing to improving the transformative learning experiences for the Filipino learners.
