Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. holds a Gift-Giving Event at Cuyambay Elementary School

Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) together with Lingkod Kamilya – TeleRadyo conducted a Turnover and Gift-Giving Event to more than 300 students and 15 General Parents-Teachers Association (GPTA) members at Cuyambay Elementary School Tanay, Rizal on September 28, 2022. 

The morning session of the event was headed by the opening remarks of Mr. Ramil S. Dasuyo, School Principal of Cuyambay Elementary School and a message from Edric C. Calma, Director for Operations of Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc., followed by a special number presented by the Indigenous People (IP) Learners known as Dumagat Remontados. 

 Along with the turnover of Knowledge Channel Portable Media Library sponsored by Ms. Cecille Marino among the teachers and students is the distribution of face masks and food packs from Ms. Bernadette Sembrano and the husband-and-wife Gen. Benjamin S Santos, Jr and Mrs. Gloria Santos. 

 In the afternoon session, a technical training for the Portable Media Library was facilitated by KCFI Director of Operations, Edric C. Calma, and Engagement and Educational Leadership Officer, Christine Billedo with the attendance of 8 teachers from the school. 

Cuyambay Elementary School collaboration with Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. for the gift-giving of Knowledge Channel Portable Media Library and mentoring program was made possible by the funding from partner organizations and support from community stakeholders and the school heads to assure that all the educational plans are aligned.  This initiative to help the students and teachers of Cuyambay Elementary School was deeply appreciated by the Principal, Mr. Dasuyo saying “through Knowledge Channel, the means of studying will be more fruitful.”
